Fish City Belfast Win Best Seafood Establishment for Northern Ireland 2017

Fish City Belfast does it again!

Winner of this year’s Best Seafood Establishment at ‘The Food Awards Northern Ireland 2017.’

Fish City which opened in Belfast last year has just won ‘Best Seafood Establishment’ at The Food Awards Northern Ireland 2017. John and Grainne Lavery collected the award this evening which was presented in the Crowne Plaza hotel.

John stated, “this is a fabulous achievement and to know that it was all through public vote is even more special. We are very focused on our fish being sustainable, looking after our environment and providing the best quality experience to everyone who comes to our restaurant and takeaway, this has been a thrilling night”.

The Best Seafood Establishment Award is presented to the winner in Northern Ireland as ‘the best seafood establishment is one that would serve the best cuisine. Using creativity, taste, textures and variety, it would provide a range of seafood to tantalise people’s taste buds’.

Grainne Lavery was overjoyed at the result stated, ”on behalf of John and our team, I would like to personally express my thanks to everyone who has supported us since our opening and for voting for us at the Food Awards Northern Ireland 2017, our award will be on display as soon as we open tomorrow morning!  This is a great achievement and testimony of our vision and to our team’s success.”
