Top 5 shortlisted for National Fish and Chip Awards ‘Restaurant of the Year’

10th November 2022 - Today, five fish and chip shops from around the UK have been shortlisted for the National Fish and Chip Awards 2023, ‘Restaurant of the Year’ category.

The top five, located across Nottingham, Norfolk, Northern Ireland and Gloucestershire, has been whittled down following the top ten announcement, last month.

Chosen based on their expert industry knowledge and outstanding customer service, alongside strong environmental standards and ability to observe sustainability best practice, the restaurants shortlisted are:

  • The Cod’s Scallops, West Bridgford

  • Eric’s Fish and Chips, Thornham

  • Fish City, Belfast

  • Henry’s of Hunstanton, Hunstanton

  • Malt and Anchor, Cirencester

The Restaurant of the Year category is sponsored by Seafood from Iceland.

The winner will be announced at The National Fish & Chip Awards, hosted by the The National Federation of Fish Friers (NFFF), on the 28th of February 2023 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge.
